Photobook Workshop

Déréal Digital Magazine and Carla Gasparrini are organizing an online Photobook Workshop, blending theoretical insights with practical sessions. Led by Carla Gasparrini, the workshop will guide participants through the process of creating photobooks, from initial concept development to final execution.
Below is an outline of the proposed workshop framework, designed with flexibility to adapt to participants’ needs and suggestions.

Workshop Structure

  • Introduction & Theory: The workshop begins with a 2 hour theoretical session open to all (no limit on number of participants). This session introduces photobook history, creation and the emergence of the artist's book or book-works.

These sessions are scheduled across 2 weekends (4 days in total -Saturdays and Sundays-), with a total duration of approximately 24 - 28 hours.
