HILLSIDE HIGH SCHOOL 2024 HOMECOMING PARADE REGISTRATION FORM
PARADE DATE: Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 3:00pm

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 4, 2024
ALL Groups/Organizations are REQUIRED to register.
(Note: ONLY walking units will be allowed to register after September 4th up to the day of the parade)

Parade Route: 
  • Beginning at: Shepard Middle School located at 2401 Dakota St. (traveling up Elmira Ave. to Fayetteville St.)
  • Ending at: Hillside High School located at 3727 Fayetteville Rd.

Theme: “Celebrating an Extraordinary Legacy of Hillside High School”

MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTIONS- PLEASE READ (NO EXCEPTIONS)  

*ALL CARS MUST BE INSPECTED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE PARADE. 

Motor vehicle inspections will occur:

  • Tuesday, September 17th
  • Wednesday, September 18th (if needed)

Motor vehicle inspection time: 6pm

Motor vehicle inspection location: Hillside High School in the Main parking lot

 * Motor vehicle Inspection Documentation Requirements:

- Drivers MUST be 25 years of age or older.
- A VALID driver's license is required for ALL drivers.
- CURRENT vehicle registration must be presented for each vehicle.
- VALID auto insurance is mandatory for all drivers.
- MINORS MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

***These rules apply to ALL motorized vehicles and drivers.*** 

ALL motor vehicle MUST have documentation of inspection! Rental cars and floats will be inspected the day of the parade and will be required to provide documentation noted above. Motor vehicles that have NOT been inspected will NOT be allowed to participate in the parade. If you don't have documentation of motor vehicle inspection but registered as a motor vehicle, the participants will still be allowed to participate by walking in the parade.

RELEASE STATEMENT

By providing my name below, I/We agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless NAAHHS from any injury, loss or liability to our group, our members (which, for purposes of this releases, includes anyone who marches with our group or rides on our group’s vehicle) or anyone else which might arise out of the participation of our group or its members in the parade.  

We also understand that failure to follow all rules and regulations of the parade and the instructions of the official NAAHHS Parade Staff may result in our being pulled from the parade IMMEDIATELY.  

Parade fees will NOT be refunded to any organizations that are required to be removed from the parade.
