Where the Bodies Are Buried
Voices of Monterey Bay is testing readers' interest in an ongoing series of stories describing the forgotten but colorful history of the Central Coast, tales like "The Battle of Moss Landing." The stories would not all fall under the "true crime" genre, but will include memorable events and/or figures worth remembering, in addition to some the more sensational crime stories from years past.

"Where the Bodies Are Buried" would be available exclusively to "patrons" through the Patreon site at a low subscription price (we need you to tell us how much you'd be willing to spend). Patrons would receive new stories regularly and will have access to the "Where the Bodies Are Buried" site. If we do this, we might even host a get-together with subscribers sometime soon to swap tales about history and Monterey County and true crime.

Revenue from subscriptions will help support Voices' mission as the Central Coast's only nonprofit news magazine.

By completing this survey, you will help Voices determine if there is sufficient reader interest in the topic and, if so, what a fair price for the ongoing service might be. Better yet, we will send you Part 2 of "The Battle of Moss Landing" after you complete this survey. (We're asking for your email only so we can send you a link to Part 2.)
