World Youth Day was established by St. John Paul II as an opportunity for young people to gather and celebrate their faith together.  Every other year it is celebrated on an international level.  This year, thousands of young people will be gathering in Lisbon, Portugal for a week of prayer, conferences and fellowship, led by our Holy Father Pope Francis.

In this same spirit, in our diocese of Youngstown we will be holding a 2-day World Youth Day event for Young Adults ages 18-39.  The theme for this year is "Mary arose and went in haste."  We will have guest speakers, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with praise and worship and the opportunity for confession, a Rosary procession, good food, and lots of time for fellowship!

OPTIONS FOR OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATIONS:
OPTION #1 - CAMPING: There will be a designated area for campers. You will be able to bring your own tents, sleeping bags, etc.  
OPTION #2 - HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: There are several hotels within a 20 minute drive of the event. Cost between $56-259/per night depending where (as of 6/17/23) 
OPTION #3 - RETURN HOME or STAY with YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS NEARBY
