Hello First-Generation* Community!
We are excited to have you join us for our monthly Adulting While First-Generation lunches!
Purpose of Lunches:
- Be in community and network with other First-Generation students, staff and faculty
- Gain navigational skills by asking 'adulting 101' questions (exampes could include: how to buy a car, what is a credit score, how to make the most of college, what am I doing here?! There is no such thing as a silly question!)
- Enjoy a free community meal

*L&C considers First-Generation College Students** as neither parents (or guardians) have earned a bachelor’s degree.
**Like any identity, identifying a clear definition is always challenging as each individual is complex and unique. Defining a First-Generation College Student is no different and can be complicated. IME welcomes any student who believes they would benefit from our First-Generation Programs. We encourage you to reach out to IME if you have questions about defining who is First-Generation and/or if you would like to share more about your experience!
