Level-Up League Leadership Workshop Series 2025

The Level-Up League Leadership Workshop Series (Level-Up) aims to identify potential future leaders and to provide tools to increase their activity and involvement in League programs and processes. This program stems from the strategic plan and requests from membership to learn more about civic engagement and League leadership roles.

The program will consist of six sessions and a pre-session meet and greet for the cohort. The sessions will be 2 hours long and will take place starting in mid-2025. Actual dates will be announced soon. 

The objective of the program is to provide an understanding of the LWVOC and the larger League of Women Voters Structure, as well as local government structures, and enable participants to become more effective and engaged leaders.

A welcome and overview will take place in mid- 2025. Sessions will be a combination of in-person and on zoom. 

Topics will include:

  • Leadership styles

  • LWV essentials overview-zoom

  • Local government and elections- zoom

  • Advocacy and telling our story

  • Putting Knowledge into Action- zoom

  • Next steps and future roles

Members of the League, the Board of Directors, and Committee Chairs are invited to identify potential candidates before March 1, 2025 and invited to apply and/or to nominate individuals to the program. Please fill out the form below if you are applying for yourself, or ask your nominee to do so.
