STAY is starting up another round of Small Faith Groups, beginning the week of February 9th. Small Faith Groups will be groups of 6-8 people who meet weekly to share their faith through prayer and conversations. Participating in a Small Faith Group is an opportunity to grow in your faith and to grow closer to a group of people in our STAY community.
The content will be driven by a series of talks entitled 'The Modern Catholic.' Every three weeks a speaker will give a talk on someone who carried his or her Catholic faith with him or her through all aspects of life. They will provide content for Small Faith Groups to discuss for the two subsequent weeks. The talk will take place on Thursday evenings (meet for Fellowship around 7 PM) and run the following schedule:
1.) February 12th: Brother Innocent Smith, O.P. - Dorothy Day: Love of God and Love of Neighbor
2.) March 5th: Michael Murray, M.D. - Jerôme LeJeune and the Culture of Life
3.) March 26th: Brother Louis Bertrand Lemoine, O.P. - Flannery O'Connor: Lectio divina and the Violence of the Word
4.) April 23rd: Sister Maria Frassati, O.P. - J.R.R. Tolkien and the Sacrament of the Present Moment
You can indicate your interest in signing up for a Small Faith Group (this season will run about 12 weeks and your group will decide if you'd like to continue meeting beyond this time) via this form.
