An initiative of the World Economic Forum, The Global Shapers Community is a network of Hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their drive to make a contribution to their communities. To date, there are 453 Hubs in 169 countries and territories and more than 6,000 Global Shapers worldwide.
The Orlando Hub was founded in 2014 by Nilmarie Zapata. As we enter our third year, we're looking towards continuing on the momentum instituted in our second year as we mature as a hub. In 2016, we are focusing on implementing projects established last year and creating newer initiatives as a hub while contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
