Deeply Rooted Dance Theater Summer Dance Intensive 2026 Audition Video Submission.

Thank you for your interest in our Deeply Rooted Dance Theater’s 2026 Summer Dance Intensive (SDI).

We understand that audition locations are limited and that many dancers may wish to audition from outside our in-person cities. For that reason, we are pleased to offer a video audition option.

The deadline for video submissions and the $20 video audition fee is Thursday,  April 30, 2026 at11:59pm CST. Click here for payment link (please choose pickup option when asked). This link will also appear after submitting this form. 

Please allow 1–2 weeks for a response regarding your acceptance into the program.

Submission Instructions

1. Please learn the Ballet, Modern and Choreography combinations from the video demonstration posted at https://www.deeplyrooteddancetheater.org/summer-dance-intensive. For musical accompaniment, please use the playlist provided.

2. Record yourself performing the combinations.

3. Record a 1–3 minute Solo movement phrase in desired technique.
