Liability for Recalled Items:
Rhea Lana's of The High Desert is aware and supportive of the efforts of the Consumer Protection Safety Commission to remove recalled items from the resale industry. Rhea Lana's of The High Desert has a digital database on recalled products available in the store. These binders are available for Consignor review. Consignor agrees not to consign any unsafe or recalled items. Rhea Lana's of The High Desert shall not be liable for the sale of unsafe or recalled items which are offered for sale by Consignor. Consignor shall defend and indemnify Rhea Lana's of The High Desert in the event of any claim or liability arising from Consignor's sale of an unsafe or recalled item at a Rhea Lana's of The High Desert event.
Donated Items
Rhea Lana's of The High Desert is not a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Consignor shall not receive a donation receipt. Consignor has the choice of picking up their unsold items during the designated pick-up hours or leaving their items behind. If you wish to make a tax deductible donation of your items, DO NOT select the option to donate your unsold items on the Rhea Lana's of The High Desert website. Items left behind after the event has concluded must be removed from the event location immediately and shall be the property of the individual owner of Rhea Lana's of The High Desert and shall be handled at the sole discretion of the owner of Rhea Lana's of The High Desert. By selecting “Donate” for any item in my online Rhea Lana's of The High Desert account, I acknowledge that this items will not be made available to me during the designated pick up hours, will not be subject to the Guarantee (described above), and such items will be under the sole control and possession of the owner of Rhea Lana's of The High Desert.
Settlement checks will be emailed to every consignor, you may print and deposit at your bank. All checks are cashable at any JW Chase Banking Location for a small fee.
