Online Scholarship Application

Each semester PNCA awards partial tuition scholarships to children and young adults, ages 4-18, to attend art classes in our Youth Program. Awards are based on financial need and may cover between 10-90% of the cost of tuition. In addition to possible tuition costs, students and their families are also responsible for the department fee of a course.

Students can apply for a scholarship each Term, up to four times per year. A student cannot receive more than one scholarship per term. Siblings may apply concurrently.

Should your child be awarded a scholarship, we will make every effort, but cannot guarantee, placement in your preferred course.

A letter of Recommendation from a teacher or community member is required as part of the application. Recommendations should be a short paragraph describing the applicant's interest in art. Students under the age of 18 who qualify for the Free/Reduced Price Lunch Program at their respective schools are eligible for a tuition scholarship toward a PNCA youth program course. To apply, simply include a letter from the student’s school documenting the participation in the Free/Reduced Price Lunch Program along with the scholarship form. If the child is home-schooled or in a school that does not participate in the Free/Reduced Price Lunch Program, please include proof of income in the form of last year’s income tax form.

Letters of Recommendation, documentation of participation in a the Free/Reduced Lunch Program and/or Income Tax forms should be sent to:
