Clubhouse Crew Application (Due on Wednesday, 9/27/17)

Clubhouse Crew is a group of students in grades 2-5 who are selected to help lead AM Clubhouse. Students who are chosen for this club will be e-mailed a video of the new routine on Sunday evenings. Students have until Wednesday, when our club meets on the blacktop after school from 2:30-3:00 pm, to learn the routine. At that time, students must be able to perform the movement from memory and be able to show it to me. Students will then be assigned a spot to dance, either near the Clubhouse walking path, near the tetherball courts, or near the far wall ball courts. Clubhouse Crew will not be on nor near the portable ramp as the Crew's purpose is to be spread out so that all Mundy students have a leader nearby that they can see and follow during Clubhouse.

A panel of teachers will review these applications to then choose up to a maximum of 15 applicants for the Clubhouse Crew. Selected students and guardians must meet the following expectations for their student to remain a leader in the Clubhouse Crew:
1. Guardians and/or students must check e-mail for movement activity on Sunday nights.
2. Students must memorize routine by Wednesday's after-school club meeting and be able to perform it on their own.
3. Students must be present from 2:30-3:00 pm on Wednesday afternoons and guardians must promptly pick up students from the school's front at 3:00 pm.
4. Students must arrive to the blacktop and put on their yellow jersey at 8:10 am, each school morning.
5. Students must actively walk and follow all Clubhouse rules.
6. Students must move to within their assigned positions on the blacktop from 8:15-8:20 am.
7. Students must quickly return their yellow jerseys to the PE cart's jersey crate after the pledge and then hurry to their class lines.
8. Students agree to be leaders that help others see the routine, as opposed to performers that stand on the ramp for the purpose of entertaining other students. Be a helper!
Selected students that are unable to meet the above expectations will forfeit their position to a wait list student.
