Department of Career Planning and Development (DCPD) presents Train of Thoughts – Season 2, an engaging Soft Skills competition designed to challenge creativity, critical thinking, strategic reasoning, and effective expression. Through three progressive rounds, participants will transform ideas into creative expressions, solve dynamic challenges, and decode the thinking behind remarkable achievements.

Round 1: Express to Impress – The Thought Canvas
Participants will transform a given prompt, situation, or dilemma into a creative visual composition using concise writing, sketches, symbols, and keywords. The challenge is to communicate a meaningful idea through originality, clarity, and visual appeal.

Round 2: Strategy Station – The Missing Piece
Participants will work in teams to solve a mystery scenario involving incomplete information, logical clues, and conflicting constraints. A surprise twist will require teams to adapt their solutions and justify their decisions.

Round 3: Victory Voyage – The Thought Behind the Triumph
Finalists will decode the thinking behind a notable achievement, breakthrough, or turning point, highlighting the decisions and mindset that shaped the outcome. A final “Change One Thought” challenge will test their ability to analyse alternative possibilities.
