Hello, Movers & Musicians -

As a mover or musician who improvises, you are invited to participate in Improvisers Lab #5 on Wednesday, October 23rd.

Improvisers Lab is a monthly gathering of triangle area artists interested in exploring and deepening their improvisational practices with one another.

In October, we invite movers and musicians to improvise together in pairs, to explore some of the myriad possibilities and dynamics available through spontaneous “conversations”.

Barbara Dickinson will facilitate, providing a basic structure for the evening.

You will have opportunities to do any of the following:

- Improvise with someone you have worked with before

- Improvise with someone you have never worked with before

- Participate as a listener / witness (not a performer)

Wednesday, 10/23 at The Ark at 14 Epworth Lane in Durham.

We’ll start at 6:30pm, and wrap up at around 8:30 or 9:00. Please come ready as there won’t be a warm-up provided. 

No payment is needed for this event, but RSVP’s are required in order to participate, so we can plan appropriately.
