Spotlight Theatre is completely parent-run and self-funded. We receive no money from the school or school district. You may be surprised to learn that a production such as this costs between $15,000 - $20,000!  We must pay for royalties, licensing fees, scripts, sets, costumes, props, insurance, sound equipment, programs, tickets and many other operating expenses.  In order to have the funding necessary to operate the show, we need your help!!

In light of our expenses, we request a contribution of $100 per student* to cover the costs of our production. This will be due when your child signs up for the club.  Your contribution is tax deductible and may be eligible for corporate matching programs! With this contribution, you will receive one shout-out in the program.

*A scholarship fund is available to students who are unable to contribute. Please reach out to the Spotlight Board to learn more.

In addition to the financial contribution, we request that each family either:

a) Volunteer at least 4 hours to work on the production. Help needed includes chaperoning rehearsals or green room, technical help, fundraising, selling tickets and concessions. Please indicate your main area of interest below. Specific volunteer sign-ups will be sent closer to the show dates.

b) Procure a corporate sponsor. Spotlight welcomes support from businesses in the area. More information on the different sponsorship tiers is available on Spotlight's Payment Portal.

c) Make an additional $50 contribution to the club.
