Write a poem that captures a moment from your life, a single moment, a moment that you remember. The poem that you write can be as long as it needs to be. It does not have to have any formal structure. It doesn’t have to have verses. It does not need to rhyme. Ideally, it won’t rhyme. No need for metaphors or similes. Just capture a moment from your lived experience. Lean into your senses. Smells, textures, sounds, words that were spoken, details that caught your eye
