BJEP 2019 Community Event Sign-Up: Magician & Purim Carnival, Legacy Fair & Chocolate Seder
The Boston-area Jewish Education Program (BJEP) invites the community to take part in some fun events with us!

BJEP is an independent, vibrant, and inclusive Jewish learning community, from Pre-K to Grade 7, and we’re inviting families to join us for several community events this spring to see what we’re all about. Our interactive curriculum teaches Jewish traditions, history, prayers, and Hebrew, and instills students with a sense of joy, friendship and belonging within the Jewish community. We meet on Sundays from 9:30am-12pm on the Brandeis campus.

Join us for one of the following or all three. Or let us know if you wish to schedule a tour on an alternate date, and we will be in touch. Please complete the following form, so we can plan for your visit:

Sunday, March 17 - Magician and Purim Carnival: Where can you find a welcoming family atmosphere to enjoy magic, an acrobatic performer, carnival games and rich age-appropriate discussions about social justice issues that shape our world today. We are excited to open our doors and invite you to join BJEP for a family Purim Day. This event is geared for families with children ages 4 to 12. As with tradition on Purim, we encourage you to come in costumes.

Sunday, March 24 - Legacy and Learning Fair: Come to an open house on a special BJEP day. Join us as our 6th graders get creative and share their family legacies. Students will showcase family recipes, artifacts, and stories. All projects give a window into our unique cultural and Jewish educational program housed on the vibrant Brandeis Campus. Guests will be invited to participate in making a legacy collage art project that will highlight their own family history.

Sunday, April 7- Chocolate Seder: Blood, frogs, locusts, Hershey kisses, Tootsie Rolls, and chocolate-covered Matzo is all included in our unique BJEP Chocolate Seder. Please join us for a chocolaty twist to celebrate Passover.
