By entering our websites, obtaining membership status of any level with Kat Milner or Simplify Your Tech, or attending any linked event, you agree to our Terms and Conditions of use and sale.
1.0 Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Kat Milner your agreement with Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech will always include, at a minimum, the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
1.1 By becoming a member of Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech or attending any linked event, you agree to accept these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech is constantly innovating in order to provide the best possible experience for its members. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the Services which Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech provides may change from time to time without prior notice to you.
Use of The Services By You
2.0 Our membership offering, nor our website or any of the services and facilities provided by our website cannot be used for any commercial gain from any non-member of
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech. You agree by entering this site you accept our terms and conditions of use.
2.1 In order to access certain Services, you may be required to provide information about yourself (such as identification or contact details) as part of the registration process for the Service, or as part of your continued use of the Services. You agree that any registration information you give to Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech will always be accurate, correct and up to date.
2.2 You agree that you will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services.
2.3 You agree that you are solely responsible for any products, services, discounts, rewards or incentives that you have advertised and resulted in a sale by you to any consumer (and that
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech has no responsibility to you or to any third party) for any breach of your obligations under the Terms and for the consequences (including any loss or damage which Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech may suffer) of any such breach.
2.4 You understand that all information (such as data files, written text, computer software, music, audio files or other sounds, photographs, videos or other images) which you may have access to as part of, or through your use of, the Services are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated. All such information is referred to as the “Content”.
2.5 You agree that you are solely responsible for (and Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any Content that you create, transmit or display while using the Services and for the consequences of your actions (including any loss or damage which Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech may suffer) by doing so.
2.6 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech to display, distribute and promote the Services and may be revoked for certain Services as defined in the Additional Terms of those Services.
2.7 You agree that this license includes a right for Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech to make such Content available to other companies, organisations or individuals with whom Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech have relationships for the provision of syndicated services, and to use such Content in connection with the provision of those services.
2.8 You understand that
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech, in performing the required technical steps to provide the Services to our users, may
(a) transmit or distribute your Content over various public networks and in various media; and
(b) make such changes to your Content as are necessary to conform and adapt that Content to the technical requirements of connecting networks, devices, services or media.
(c) that this content may continue to be distributed, transmitted or adapted during and following your membership with
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech.
You agree that this license shall permit Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech to take these actions.
2.9 You confirm and warrant to
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the above.
Return and Refund Policy
3.0 The
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech Return and Refund Policy:
Refunds & Returns Policy
We DO Offer Refunds If:
- Goods are faulty or they become faulty soon after buying them.
- Goods are unfit for their purpose— which means they won’t do what the consumer reasonably expected them to.
- Goods don’t match the description.
We DO NOT Offer Refunds If:
· Customers simply change their minds after buying the goods/services.
· Customers have discovered they can buy the goods more cheaply or on better terms somewhere else.
· Any items were damaged due to shipping.
Business Events
Ticket purchases for business events will not be refunded unless exceptional circumstances can be shown.
Digital Products
We issue refunds for digital products within 3 days of the original purchase of the product.
We recommend contacting us for assistance if you experience any issues receiving or downloading our products.
Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

3.2 You understand Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech provides no guarantees of sale or profit resulting from or in any shape or form by using any of the services provided and that it is your sole responsibility to utilise the services provided by
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech as shown to you and through the Members Welcome Pack to receive the best possible result. It is your responsibility if you are not sure or want to know how to better utilise services to approach
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech to get support.
Use of Your Email Address
4.0 You agree to give
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech the right to add your email address to the
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech to use solely to distribute our services and information and any related business or associate information of
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech that
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech does not consider spam.
4.1 By signing the application form or by ticking any box required within an online application of this site and by viewing any pages in this site as our terms of use you agree to all the above terms & conditions.
4.2 Attendees of
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech including all special events, networking events and any event, or gathering of business owners, and members of Simplify Your Tech or organised by Kat Milner, agree to these Terms and Conditions by attending these events.
4.3 You agree that you will not mark any
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech emails as spam with your mail provider.
4.4 As Kat Milner will use email to communicate important business critical information, you must not unsubscribe from Simplify Your Tech emails during your membership term.
Membership Enrolment
5.0 You agree that each business or person must purchase a membership for each business owner or person within that or each organisation that is to attend any Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech event, whether online or in-person.
This includes franchise and licensed owners of any organisation. Each franchise or licensee from any organisation must purchase a membership individually to use the services offered by Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech unless given written notice of approval from Kat Milner.
5.1 The membership fee may increase at the sole discretion of Kat Milner, outside of your initial term. Notice shall be given for a minimum 30 days.
5.2 We reserve the right to refuse membership to any business, individual or organisation we feel does not meet our qualifying policies or does not operate in the spirit of Simplify Your Tech or Kat Milner culture.
5.3 You agree that you were given all the information required to make an informed decision about entering into an agreement with Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech. This being said,
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech provides a 1-day cooling off period, for change of mind. For clarity, you have until 5pm ACST/ACDT (Adelaide, Australia time) the following day to email support@simplifyyourtech.com. No other forms of notice will be accepted.

5.4 You must email support@simplifyyourtech.com to terminate your agreement within the Cooling-Off period. No other forms of contact will be accepted.
Your first payment will not be refunded.
5.5 Your first payment processes immediately upon signing of this agreement. If you have paid an upfront membership, support@simplifyyourtech.com will refund the difference between the upfront payment and the first month of payment. If you have chosen to pay by monthly or fortnightly instalments, your first month’s payment, and only payment, will not be refunded.
5.6 Exercising your cooling off rights under this agreement, does not terminate this contract, nor the terms of this contract.
Payment Terms
6.0 Billing: The credit card or bank details that you provide upon registering for an event or becoming a member will be automatically and immediately billed. All currency references are in the currency of your country. For example, US clients will be USD, AUS/NZ in AUD, Europe in euros. Please note, payments for the Service are billed annually and/or monthly and are non-refundable.
6.1 Cancellation: If you cancel your membership with
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech you will no longer have access to any content or services.
6.2 Cancellation: Should you elect to discontinue your membership with
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech (after the initial minimum Contract Term), written notice is required to cease payments. Payments will be ceased 30 days after written notice was received. Written notice is required by email to support@simplifyyourtech.com. No other forms of communication methods are accepted.
6.3 Your membership may be terminated for any reason, without limitation, if you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms and Conditions. Any contracts, verbal or written or assumed, will be terminated as well. Paid accounts that are terminated will not be refunded. The remaining term of your contract will be charged in full, if this contract is terminated for breach of contract.
6.4 If your credit card is invalid or rejected for more than 30-days for any reason, your membership may be cancelled, and all the information contained within will be deleted permanently. If this falls within the term of your agreement, you are required to pay out in full, the remaining balance of your term. We accept no liability for information that is deleted due to an invalid credit card.
6.5 The Monthly Membership Contract Term is established in the sign-up offer. If paid upfront, there is no refund after payment. All monthly payments are on a month-to-month basis. You may cancel your membership at any time, by providing 30 days’ notice. If there is a direct debit due to be charged within that 30 days, this will be deducted out of your account.
6.5a Done For You Services.
If paid in full upfront, there is no refund after payment. All monthly payment plans are for a maximum of 6 months. You may cancel your membership at any time, by providing 30 days’ notice. If there is a direct debit due to be charged within that 30 days, this will be deducted out of your account, along with a contract cancellation fee of $1,000.
6.6 Charges that have failed to process against your nominated credit card will attempt to re-charge your card on a daily basis. If your credit card continues to fail, the system will attempt to charge other credit cards previously added by you for other purchases that are on your membership file. You accept that any credit cards held on file by
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech can be charged for membership fees and meeting fees, or any other charges we consider you owe to
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech.
6.7 The costs associated with failed payments will be passed onto the cardholder without notice.
6.8 A $10 + GST credit card fail charge will be passed on for all late payments where manual intervention is required to receive payment. This charge will occur for each and every instance where manual follow up is required. This may be done without notice. A Tax Invoice will be issued upon successful payment.
6.9 Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech may charge any credit card on file for any meeting not paid for that was attended.
6.10 Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech may charge any card on file for any membership fees not paid for by their due date, or if another credit card on file is declined for whatever reason.
6.11 Credit card details are maintained and encrypted in the
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech CRM and payment gateway (Stripe). NOTE: All monthly subscriptions are set up via automated payment through Stripe. No other form of payment is accepted.
6.12 The Customer shall pay for all costs incurred by the
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech (including costs for which
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech may be contingently liable) in any attempt to collect any monies owed by the Customer to
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech under this Agreement including debt collection agent costs, repossession costs, location search costs, process server costs and solicitor costs on a solicitor/client basis.
6.15 – A $50 + GST fee will be charged should outstanding monies be referred to a debt collection agency. This fee covers the costs incurred by
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech in preparing the matter for collection.
This fee is in addition to any fees charged by the nominated Debt Collection Agency.
Fair Trading Policy
As a registered member of Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech you agree to our fair-trading policy as in section 7.0 to 7.2 of this agreement.
7.0 You agree to the best of your ability to provide the highest quality standard of work to any new customers you gain or receive by using the service of
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech marketing and advertising features and resources.
7.1 You agree to allow
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech or any representative of
Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech full access to all information required to resolve any dispute that may arise from any consumer or customer using your service through the use of our services.
7.2 Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech has the right to revoke any membership that we feel is not acting in the spirit of Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech. You will not receive any compensation or refund of membership to any remaining component of your membership.
Website & Email Migration
UPDATE AS OF 23 JAN 2025 As a registered member of Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech you agree to our fair-trading policy as in section 8.0 to 8.3 of this agreement.
8.0 When you become a client of Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech, your website domain will be
migrated to Cloudflare for enhanced security and performance. Once migrated, your domain will
be hosted on the Simplify Your Tech platform.
8.1 If you do not already have a
dedicated domain-branded email, it will be created for you. If you have an existing domain
email, it will be migrated from its current location to ensure seamless
integration with your Simplify Your Tech platform.
8.2 If you require multiple email
accounts or additional websites to be migrated, there will be an additional
charge. Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech offers a migration credit of up to AUD $80, which covers a single, straightforward email and
website migration.
8.3 For any work beyond the AUD $80
credit and/or more complex migrations, Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech will refer you to our trusted email and DNS specialist to ensure your needs are met. Any costs incurred for these
additional services are the responsibility of the client and are not
covered by Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech.
Affiliate Partnership
As a registered member of Kat Milner/Simplify Your Tech you agree to our fair-trading policy as in section 9.0 to 9.2 of this agreement.
9.0 When you refer someone to become a client of Simplify Your Tech or use your referral link to refer someone to become a client of Simplify Your Tech, you become an Affiliate of Simplify Your Tech.
9.1 As an Affiliate of Simplify Your Tech, when someone you refer becomes a client of Simplify Your Tech, you will receive a monthly Affiliate Commission of 10% of their membership as long as they remain a client of Simplify Your Tech.
9.2 Affiliate Commissions are paid out on the last day of the month following the payment. For example, if the referral pays their membership fee in January, your Affiliate Commission will be paid to the bank of your choice via bank transfer on February 28th.
