ELECTIONS
- Every single parent/caregiver of children attending Lord Dufferin JS Public School can attend School Council meetings and can volunteer for various events at the school;
- Members of School Council must make a commitment to attend meetings to vote on various School Council matters and planning (virtual/in-person) events;
- The first meeting will be held on September 21, 2023 at 6 pm. We will issue our By-Laws which outline the roles and the responsibilities of the executives, and parent/caregiver representatives of the School Council (if By-Laws are in place, otherwise, By-Laws are the first order of business of the new School Council);
- The election will be held on September 21, 2023 at 6 pm;
- Once all the members of School Council are elected, they will then elect/select the Executive Members of School Council which are the Chair/Co-Chairs, the Secretary and the Treasurer;
- If there are not enough interested candidates, the nominees will be acclaimed.
