WFP Texting Support Request
The Working Families Party Text Team is an intentional community of activists that work together using peer-to-peer text organizing tools to support progressive candidates, events, and causes. We collaborate digitally in the Working Families Party Slack Workspace. We use effective and tested means to build up support for WFP-endorsed candidates nationwide and GET OUT THE VOTE!

This form is to be used by candidates or campaigns endorsed by national WFP or State WFP organizations or local branches.

Be prepared, this is a long form that asks for a lot of information. We know. This is so that we can have ALL the information required to move ahead in quickly setting up the P2P campaign.

Campaign Agreements and Expectations
Your requested texting campaign:
  • Will be scripted by a National Text Team staff member or volunteer based on the information given in this form and publicly-available information from the candidate’s website, the state’s election website, and other tools such as Ballotpedia.
  • Will begin being scripted between 3-7 days after submission of this form
  • Will be sent to you for approval before launching
  • Will be launched between 7-14 days after submission of this form

We ask you
  • Please work with us to recruit volunteers to help support this effort as texters
  • Please join a Text Party to speak to volunteers about the candidate!
  • Please join our Slack Workspace to be available to answer specific questions during our texting by going to www.wfp4themany.org/text and clicking Join The Team.
  • Please let us know if your plans change - if you decide to run some portions of texting internally; if you need to push texting to a particular day; etc.
