The goal of the Student Employee of the Month Program at Murray State University is to recognize members of the Racer community who regularly display the career-focused learning outcomes essential to Kentucky graduates, as outlined by the

Recipients must be currently employed at Murray State University, and they must be in good academic standing in the month they are awarded.
Winners of the Student Employee of the Month receive a gift basket full of MSU gear, courtesy of Career Services. Each winner will be recognized during the Student Employee banquet, a come-and-go event held during National Student Employment Week during the second week of April.
Nominations are due by 3pm on the 15th of each month with the exception of April's nominations, which are due on April 1st. Awards will be given in the months of September, October, November, December, January, February, March, and April. Multiple nominations are allowed on separate forms.
Nominations will be sent to the selection committee for final decisions.
