Newent NDP Business Survey
For our small town and the surrounding area, services, amenities and employment provided by local businesses play a key part in our local community.
Your voice is important in producing a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Newent that takes account of businesses as well as housing, infrastructure, amenities, transport and the environment.
Neighbourhood planning gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their local area.
It provides a powerful set of tools for local people to plan for the types of development to meet their community’s needs and has statutory weight when planning applications are considered.
The Steering Group is made up of a cross-section of volunteers including local residents, business people and local councillors. We need your views to be able to create the policies that are at the heart of the Plan.
