The Herzberg/Wild/McDavitt Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year to honor three former Severna Park High School student athletes who made the ultimate sacrifice during military service to our country.

●               Lance Corporal Eric W. Herzberg – Class of 2005; Football, Wrestling

●               Lance Corporal William Taylor Wild, IV – Class of 2010; Baseball, Wrestling

●               Airman First Class Nathaniel H. McDavitt – Class of 2011; Football, Basketball

The scholarship, which is funded by the Falcon Athletic Boosters Club, Inc., is awarded annually in the amount of $1,000 to a Severna Park High School senior athlete who exhibits leadership by example and who is involved in volunteering and community service. The scholarship recipient must at a minimum be a two time Varsity athlete (in same sport or different sports); have a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 2.5; and plan to enter college, a trade school, or the U.S. Military after graduation. The recipient’s family must be a current member of the Falcon Athletic Boosters Club, Inc. 

This completed application and all required attachments are due April 10, 2026.
