Speech Recognition for Language Study - Workshop Sign Up

Did you know that speech recognition is available in the LRC for Arabic, Chinese (simplified), English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish? Speech recognition allows you to speak into a microphone and the computer will transform your words into text. For example, instead of typing a paper, you can speak it! Speech recognition can be used for language study in a number of ways. Come to this workshop to learn how speech recognition works, try it out for yourself, and get some tips on how to use speech recognition as an effective study tool.

Tue Oct 1, 4:15-5:15 pm

Both sessions will be held in the LRC Lab, Room 6, Ciruti Center.

If you plan to attend this event and would like to request disability accommodations, please note this in the question about "What kind of help...?" below or contact the LRC at x3513 or lrc@mtholyoke.edu by September 27.
