Register for SF Ballet's Free Professional Development Workshop for K-12 Teachers & Educators
SF Ballet's Department of Education & Training is pleased to offer a FREE professional development workshop for K-12 teachers, school administrators, and homeschool educators on January 11 at the SF Ballet building (455 Franklin Street, San Francisco, 94102). You’ll explore engaging dance activities, lessons, and resources that you can use in the classroom to introduce your students to dance and ballet.
Not sure how to link dance to the core curriculum? Looking for activities that help your students explore dance and ballet? Want to know more about the ballets "Cinderella" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" before bringing your class to see a SF Ballet Student Matinee? Join us at the workshop!
Educators will receive free materials, resources, and easy-to-use activities that introduce students to movement, dance, and ballet. These resources can be used in the classroom before a performance to prepare your students for SF Ballet Student Matinee or after the Student Matinee performance to help them reflect on the ballet experience.
