Teens for Screens at UCLA trains undergraduate students as breast cancer educators who educate middle and high schoolers on a bi-weekly basis, in-person. As part of our outreach efforts, we aim to partner with high schools with high populations of underserved groups, such as low-income students and minorities, to equip them with information about breast cancer and the importance of screenings. We are searching for undergraduates who are passionate about breast cancer awareness and community health outreach.

Committees you may join:

Finance Committee:
-  Help in setting up and supporting fundraisers
- Approximate time commitment: 2 hours/week

Outreach & Logistics Committee:
- Help with reaching out to local high schools
- Helping to maintain consistent communication with high school teachers
- Help in reaching out to UCLA clubs to co-program events
- Help in sifting through club evaluations
- Approximate time commitment: 2 hours/week

Education Committee:
- Help with creating infographics and presentations for high school students
- Come up with different engaging, fun class activities for students
- Approximate time commitment: 3 hours/week

Events Committee:
- Help set up and plan all events including, but not limited to, the following: quarterly retreats, our quarterly breast cancer event with speakers, bonding events throughout the year, activities at the beginning of every meeting, and our end of the year banquet.
- Help recruit speakers and plan entertainment for our quarterly breast cancer event
- Working with the finance committee to get items needed for events and sponsorships
- Helping with advertisements on Bruin Walk
Approximate time commitment: 2 hours/week

Marketing & Technology Committee:
- Help with creating infographics and advertisements for club for social media
- Help publicize
- Help organize flyering, events in Bruin Plaza, and other publicity activities 
- Supporting whatever is needed to upkeep club website
- Approximate time commitment: 2 hours/week
