Application Form for the Exhibition

“Between Seas. Between Identities. In a Shared Dialogue.”

Collaboration between Latvia and Italy

This exhibition explores the dialogue between two cultural landscapes — Latvia and Italy. Water serves as the central symbol and a connecting element that simultaneously separates and unites.

The stillness of the Baltic Sea and the movement of the Mediterranean reflect two distinct identities — northern restraint and southern expression. The exhibition invites artists to interpret this interaction, creating works that form a unified visual and emotional dialogue.

Works created prior to the publication of this open call are eligible for submission.

REQUIREMENTS

• Each artist may submit 1 to 3 works
• Maximum dimensions per work: 2 m × 2 m × 2 m
• Works must be aesthetically appropriate for exhibition
• Works containing inappropriate or offensive content will not be accepted

Selected artists will be provided with:

• An individual exhibition space
• A curator-led installation
• Visibility through media and social platforms
• Informational materials (digital and printed)

Participation fee:

15 € (to cover organizational costs)
