Start your own Restart Party
You have contacted us from all over the UK and well beyond. Some of you have plenty of repair skills you want to share. Others love the concept and would like to see it happening nearby.

So we're organising a special one-day event in London on Saturday 14 September to help up to 15 people get started running a Restart Party or community repair event.

Here's the agenda:

* From 12pm: - starter information session, sharing tips to get started in your community: best venues, local partners to get the word out, what tools you should get hold of, what you need to know about health & safety.

* Lunch break

* 2-5pm: we will get you directly involved in running a special edition of a Restart Party, to learn how to manage the flow, how to get participants as involved as possible with taking stuff apart and fixing, how to document your work

* Early evening (until 6.30pm): final informal session to recap what we learned, celebrate all the fixing happened on the day and have a toast to the upcoming Restart Parties in your towns.

If you'd like to get involved, **please fill the form below by 28 August**.

We will select 15 people giving priority to those who:

- can commit to organising your first Restart Party by the beginning of November 2013
- already have some contacts with local community groups who can collaborate running the event

Anyone can participate, not matter where you are from in the UK, but we have an extremely limited ability to contribute to travel or accommodation costs at this moment.

We plan to organise similar events in the upcoming months, so if you can't make it, don't despair!
