The mission of the Highlander Education Foundation is to provide funding for the West Milford Public School system for novel and at- risk programs by hosting fundraising events and soliciting sponsorships from the community. Through its committees, the Foundation will also advocate at the local, county, and state levels for the best interests of the West Milford Township public school students through its action committee work.
Your grant must meet one or more of these objectives:
- Support high-stakes testing to raise test scores and assist students and families in navigating standardized tests positively.
- Build inter-school connections to foster a positive environment that encourages students to remain in West Milford.
- Develop a supplemental program that aligns with the rigorous NJ Student Learning Standards and approved district curriculum standards, benefiting the student population within West Milford public schools.
