You will need to upload the video to youtube and then submit the link at the end of this application. The video should be no more than two minutes in length. During the video you create you should answer the questions below as well as show your personality, your creativity, and your passion for this opportunity. We know you can do this!!!
Here are some questions to consider when making your video. Please be specific as well as honest with your responses: 1. Explain why you want to be a Link Leader. Elaborate on what you bring to the program that other students don't. 2. Discuss your time commitments to other activities. This includes, but is not limited to, classes and clubs both in and out of school. How will you believe you have the time to commit to this program? 3. Looking back to when you were a freshman, how do you believe having a Link Leader could have helped you when you entered high school as a 9th grader or helped you if you were ever new to the district during high school? If selected as a Link Leader, how will you make this transition easier for these students? 4. Define the qualities which make you a strong leader/role model for 9th graders. Explain what an incoming BHHS student can learn from you. 5. Describe any obstacles that you have overcome in your life that made you a stronger person. 6. Part of being a Link Leader will be teaching advisory lessons to 9th graders. Are you comfortable following simple directions and teaching these to those younger than you? Explain qualities you have that would be an asset to teaching.7. Finally, what last impression do you want the committee to have regarding your application. In short, why should we pick you?
