Single-use foodware is a major source of waste in Central Oregon. One solution we have is creating a reusable take-out container program. Reusable takeout container programs let customers borrow durable containers for their meals and return them to a network participating eateries to be cleaned and reused creating a system that makes it convenient. Similar programs like https://roguetogo.com/ is a great example of successful implementation. We think we can do something similar in Central Oregon!
