General Workshop Leader Application Form Tropical Pressure 10-12 July 2026

Do you have a great idea for a fun, participative WORKSHOP, suitable for an enthusiastic vibrant and diverse festival audience? Here is where you can let us know!

What are we looking for in a workshop proposal:
We are looking for movement, dance, music, craft, art, well-being, environment, bushcraft, and anything more you can dream up, as long as it has a Tropical Twist and only a Positive Environmental Impact. A good workshop will encourage active participation from the audience and enhance their wellbeing. 

Our festival “theme” this year is BIODIVERSITY… so if you can link your workshop idea to celebrating and/or protecting the rich variety of nature, species and ecosystems that are the beating pulse of this beautiful planet, we’d love it! 

Who are these workshops aimed at?
This application form is for all those who would like to propose and facilitate a WORKSHOP FOR AGES 14+ at Tropical Pressure Festival 2026 (10th - 12th July). Let us know who you are, what you propose and a little about how you can facilitate your idea. If you have run a similar workshop before and have photos/ video, all the better.

NOTE: If your proposed workshop is aimed at CHILDREN then please complete the alternative ‘Kids Field Workshops’ application form, which you can find on the website. 


GENERAL WORKSHOPS INFO:

All workshops are FREE to our festival-goers and we encourage workshops which are as inclusive as possible. 

All workshops take place within the festival site in scheduled slots between Friday 10th and Sunday 12th July inclusive. They are generally between 1-2 hours long and can be under cover or outdoors. 

MOST of our workshops take place in tents and outside areas and therefore on grass under-cover. There is not guaranteed access to water or power in all of these areas. We also have an indoor space with a hard floor if required.  

As a small festival, we offer weekend tickets to the festival in exchange for workshops (usually 1 adult weekend ticket per workshop), but have a small budget that can be used towards workshop material expenses in some cases.
