M259 Course Data Copyright Contract
The data used in the MAT259 Data Visualization course is proprietary to the Seattle Public Library and the George Legrady art project "Making Visible the Invisible".  I agree to use the data specifically to realize projects in this course. Extended usage in research, publications, or any other form is encouraged but requires crediting George Legrady, the "Making Visible the Invisible” project and the Seattle Public Library as the source of the data in the publication. The data should otherwise not be circulated publicly. I promise not to distribute the data in any public context such as posting the data on the internet, and I will not use the data for any commercial activities. Data used on public computers will need to be erased from public computers following usage.

The course includes a number of code examples in java-based Processing created by the professor, teaching assistants, and also produced by students in their assignments. If any segments of any of the codes are used in my assignments, I promise to give credit to the source in a comment preceding the segment of the code.
