In the lone Jackson-area game involving a pair of unbeaten teams, Columbia Central is 4-0 for the first time since 2005 while Ida is 4-0 for the second straight year. Grand Ledge (4-0, 2-0 CAAC) is part of a three-way tie for first place in the conference with East Lansing and Holt. Springport (2-2, 2-1 Big Eight) strung together back-to-back wins over Quincy and Reading but lost 48-32 to Union City. Athens (0-4, 0-3 Big Eight) is 0-4 for the fifth straight year and lost 48-20 to Springport last season. Pick: Springport 41, Athens 6
Stockbridge at Perry, 7 p.m. Friday *
Stockbridge (3-1, 1-1 GLAC) won its first three games before a 61-42 loss to Lake Odessa Lakewood. Perry beat Whitmore Lake (1-3, 0-2 GLAC) in Week 2 for its lone victory and lost 66-64 to Stockbridge last season. Pick: Stockbridge 48, Perry 28

Vandercook Lake (4-0, 3-0 Cascades) is 4-0 for the first time since 1996 – the only season the Jayhawks reached the playoffs. Grass Lake (2-2, 1-2 Cascades) has alternated wins and losses and is coming off a 23-13 defeat to Manchester. Pick: Vandercook Lake 35, Grass Lake 21
