Friday Night Lights Picnic (July – August)

No volunteers needed. Event has passed. One of our first events of the year is a picnic that brings together all Friday Night Lights organizations—including cheer, band, football, drill team, and more. We need two volunteers to help plan and implement this fun event!

Fundraising (June – September)

We are looking for 2-3 well-connected community members to help us secure local business and organization sponsorships to support the football program.

Homecoming Parade Volunteer (September)

We need 2-3 volunteers to assist with planning and organizing the Homecoming Parade, including buying candy and decorating trailers.

Senior Week (October)

We love celebrating our seniors and making Senior Week a special time for them! Each day of the week, we create unique celebrations to honor our seniors. We need 1-2 creative senior parents who are passionate about making this week memorable for their boys.

Concession Coordinator (August – March)

Proceeds from the concession stand are our second-largest fundraiser, making it essential to have a well-staffed team of volunteers at each event. We need 1-2 organized volunteers to ensure that all concession events are covered. You do not need to be present at every event, but we need someone to oversee volunteer coordination.

Spirit Wear Coordinator (August – November, plus 1-2 spring events)

No longer needed. Please check back next season. We are looking for one volunteer to manage spirit wear sales, including selling items at varsity football games.

Locker Room Decorations (August – November)

No longer needed. Please check back next season. We love to celebrate home games by decorating the varsity and sub-varsity locker rooms on Tuesday afternoons. We need 4-5 creative volunteers to help with decorations.

Varsity Saturday Morning Breakfast (August – November)

During football season, we provide Saturday morning breakfasts for varsity players. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate and prepare meals.

Tunnel and Banner Crew (August – May)

No longer needed. Please check back next season. Provide support for Vasity Football during pre and post game activities, various weekly activities, and school pep rallys throughout year.

Blue Crew Assistant Coordinator and Volunteers (August 2026 – November 2026)

We need 2-3 volunteers to assist with the Rock Hill Blue Crew program, which pairs Blue Crew Buddies (grades 1-5) with Varsity Blue Hawk Football Players for mentoring opportunities. Blue Crew members join the players on the field for Friday night home games at Children's Health Stadium, run through the tunnel, and exchange letters with their paired players throughout the season.

Sub-Varsity Banquet Volunteers (November – January)

We need 3-4 9th and 10th grade parents to help plan and implement the Sub-Varsity Banquet, which takes place in early January.

Varsity Banquet Volunteers (November – January)

We need 3-4 11th and 12th grade parents to help plan and implement the Varsity Banquet, which typically occurs at the end of January.

Social Media Volunteer (Year-Round)

No longer needed. Please check back next season. We need one volunteer to help manage the Booster Club’s social media presence. This includes sharing event updates, recognizing player achievements, and promoting fundraising opportunities. If you love engaging with the community online and keeping everyone informed, this is a great way to help out!

Media Guide Coordinator (August - November)
No longer needed. Please check back next season. We need 1 volunteer to coordinate and communicate information to ensure the Media Guide meets the expectations of the sponsors, football team, and the booster club.
