Industry Team Case Study - Facilitator Application
Thank you for your interest in facilitating an industry case study for life sciences graduate trainees at the University of Toronto.

As a team facilitator, you will guide a group of 3-5 trainees through a project related to your field of work from February to May, 2017. After meeting your team and deciding how often to meet, you will guide them through selection of a topic, and coach them through their research and generation of compelling insights.

Facilitators will not generate content. You will be tasked with assessing the validity and relevance of the team’s research questions, advising on appropriate sources of information, and providing feedback on the quality of the research.

Participation will require about an hour per week of your time depending on the frequency of the meetings and the stage of the project. Depending on the level of guidance needed by your team at different stages, a greater time commitment may be needed (e.g., 2 hours per week).

Your volunteer effort on this project will benefit trainees who are seeking practical experience, and also has the potential to hugely benefit you by providing an opportunity to develop leadership and coaching skills.

In order to match you with suitable trainees, please fill out the form below.
