This workshop will equip participants with the tools to write the most effective opening lines to a poem. We'll explore how entering a poem through the smallest possible place - a piece of fruit, a bird, or a mundane day - can enrich and enliven the world of the poem. The workshop will run Oct. 29th - November 19th, on Wednesday evenings starting at 8 p.m. EST for a half an hour. The cost for four full weeks of the workshop is $70, but a standalone workshop session is $20. Participants will receive zoom recordings of the workshop content, as well as the prompts via email after the session.
