Trees are good for our community:
they provide cleaner air, beautiful streets, and increased home values.
Members of our Commission have completed CORE training through the
Rutgers Urban Forestry Program and select trees using the “Right Tree, Right Place” approach.
This will limit future issues associated with sidewalks or overgrowth.
Interested in having a FREE tree planted in front of your home?
Each new tree will be planted with a “Gator Bag” to facilitate slow and deep watering – we ask that you fill
the bag 1 x a week during the first season of planting.
