-Wrap it in wax paper and place it between sturdy cardboard sheets.
-Fix all charcoal or pastel pieces.
-Do not send wet, sticky, or unpackaged artwork.
-Do not send your artwork without a package or envelope as it will get postmarked and damaged.
7. Mail or Drop Off Your Artwork

Drop off packaged artwork during gallery hours:

Please ensure your artwork is enclosed in an envelope or package before mailing or dropping off.
8. Confirmation & Sale Notification
Once your artwork is processed, you’ll receive an email confirmation acknowledging your participation. Please ensure your email address is entered correctly. After the sale concludes, you’ll be notified via email if your artwork has sold.
9. Unsold Artwork
Any unsold artwork will be added to The Contemporary Dayton’s retail shop as a full donation. While we cannot share buyer contact information without their consent, we can forward your request to them. If they agree, we’ll provide you with their details.
Please note: State of Ohio tax regulations do not permit deductions for donated artwork.
10. Event and Artist Benefits
In Small Measure Live Sale Event
Friday, February 13, 2026, 7-9 pm.
Tickets: $35 per person
Preview Party, 5:30-7 pm
Tickets: $135 per duo
Preview party ticket holders get first dibs to purchase artworks.
Tickets will be available beginning December 1, 2025 at codayton.org
All participating artists will receive two complimentary tickets to the In Small Measure Live Sale Event. If artists wish to attend the Preview Party, they may purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $50 per person.
