Proposals requesting funds up to $1500 (mini-grants) are reviewed each academic month September - June. Applications received by the 20th of each month, August - May, will be reviewed and voted on at the following board meeting (typically the first week of the following month). Applications received after the 20th of any given month will be held and reviewed at the next board meeting.
Proposals requesting funds greater than $1500 are reviewed twice a year. The 2018-19 application deadlines are November 15th and March 15th.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applicants who submit on time, with appropriate detail, and with requests that align with SERF's mission criteria, will receive notice of approval within 30 days.
Please note: When you submit an application to SERF, the Assistant Superintendent is notified, and review prompted. The Assistant Superintendent must sign off on proposals in order to be reviewed by the SERF Granting Committee. If questions arise, your Superintendent and/or the SERF Granting Committee will email the primary applicant.
