GT Flip the Switch Competition
Georgia Tech joined the Campus Conservation Nationals Competition this year, where we will be competing against 100+ other schools to reduce our energy and water consumption in the residence halls by the greatest percentage. And we need students like you to encourage conservation in the residence halls!

http://www.competetoreduce.org/Responsibilities will include:
1.
Being the point of contact for your buildings before and during the competition
2.
Responsible for encouraging energy and water reduction in their buildings
3.
Be creative in education and motivating action (events, posters, etc)
4.
Willing to go door to door to educate and encourage residents to turn off lights and unplug electronics
5.
Will need to send emails out to their buildings with competition education materials and standings (4 weeks in total)
6.
Encourage residents to go to Flip the Switch events
7.
Weekly check-in meetings with Building Captain Manager, Kerry Engoron. (snacks provided!)
8.
Will need to sign up on the CCN website as soon as you are approved
9.
Free Building Captain t-shirt
We are looking for about 22 energetic and outgoing people to really motivate involvement in the campus community to conserve! We already have events planned and promotion strategies which we'd love for you to be apart of.
The application deadline will be on March 28th.
