Student Engagement Grant (SEG) - Title V - Adams State University

    The Title V Steering Committee is pleased to announce the availability of Student Engagement Grants at $1,000 for the 2014 Hilos Summer Institute participants to support the goals below:

    Goal #1: Cultivate a high quality, student-centered environment for Hispanic and low-income students to address issues of access, student success, and retention. Goal #2: Implement a faculty development program focused on the needs of Hispanic and low-income students. Goal #3: The improvement of Hispanic and low-income student access to technology. Who can apply? Student Engagement Grants are available to individuals completing the 2014 Hilos Summer Institute hosted by Adams State University Title V Institutional Grant. Complete the Student Engagement Grant application provided at the 2014 Hilos Summer Institute and submit via email, (lillian_gomez@adams.edu), inner office mail to MCD 344, or online at the ASU Hilos website. By Title V Grant requirements a brief summary documenting the success of your Student Engagement Grant will be submitted to the Project Director by June 30, 2014. Student Engagement Grant due dates: • Student Engagement Grant application process begins August 1, 2014. • All SEG's will be reviewed by the members of the Title V Steering Committee. • Notification of award will be given within 15 working days of the SEG submission via email. • All SEGs funds ($1,000) must be expended or allocated (encumbered) by May 30, 2015. • Unexpended funds will not be re-allocated.
