25-26 Latinos In Action Application/Agreement
Please fill out this application if you are interested in joining the Latinos in Action class for the 2025-2026 school year. Please read the instructions carefully so you don't miss the essays or teacher recommendations.

Essays
You will need to submit two of these short essay prompts to the LIA teacher (hfenwick@providencehall.com) for consideration. If you will forget the email or prompts, write it down or allow the form to send you a copy of your responses.

Option A:

Have you participated in LIA before? If so, please tell us one of your accomplishments or something you learned during that time. (100 words)


Option B:

The end goal of everything we do is to empower Latino youth to lead and strengthen their communities through college and career readiness. We accomplish this by focusing on four pillars: leveraging personal and cultural assets, excelling in education, serving the community, and developing leadership skills.

Describe one idea you have for a service project or social event that could be beneficial to your community or school. Please explain how it would be in line with the LIA pillars by reference the quote above in your explanation. (100 words)

Option C:

How do you honor your Latino heritage in your day to day life? Why is this important? (100 words)
