I'm looking to give my 15-inch MacBook Pro to an aspiring and motivated programmer who currently cannot afford a development machine. It has been a great companion who travelled the world with me and supported me on stage to give my presentations. I'm going to miss it, but it is time that it makes somebody else happy.
It is a mid 2009 15-inch MacBook Pro, with a non glossy screen, a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB 1067 Mhz DDR3 RAM, a GeForce 9400M 256MB, a brand new 256GB SSD drive and a US keyboard layout. It is not the newest machine, but it is definitely fast enough for day to day programming. I've been doing all of my programming on it up until recently.
I remember the times when I had to borrow money so that I could buy a laptop. This is my way of giving back and I hope that it will make somebody happy.
P.S: Thanks to Alex Payne for the inspiration to do this
