Interwoven Ecosystems: Art Exhibition Featuring Visiting Artist Fellowship Alumni

The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute (LMSAI) at Harvard University, in collaboration with the American Centre New Delhi, is hosting an arts exhibition, titled, "Interwoven Ecosystems: Art, Well-being and the Environmentfrom August 3 - 10, 2024. This exhibition will feature the works of Dhara Mehrotra and Paribartana Mohanty, alumni of LMSAI's Visiting Artist Fellowship (VAF) program, a unique opportunity for mid-career visual artists from around South Asia to spend eight weeks on the Harvard campus serving as a catalyst for artistic growth and cultural exchange.

This exhibition aims to highlight the intrinsic link between environmental and human well-being, illustrating how ecological degradation directly impacts our health and quality of life. Through the compelling visual narratives crafted by Mehrotra and Mohanty, the exhibit seeks to foster a deeper understanding and sense of urgency in addressing environmental challenges. Ultimately, it advocates for holistic approaches to ensure a healthier planet and populace.

Please carry government issued photo ID cards for secured access entry into the American Centre.
