NOTE: Negotiations will be running in semester 1 for 2018, not semester 2.
This competition is designed to test and refine legal negotiation skills. Working in teams of 2, students must work to negotiate a settlement that satisfies the needs of both their client and the client of the opposing team. Each round will run for approximately 40 minutes.
Given the nature of the competition being heavily reliant on teamwork skills, individual registrations with randomised pairings will not be accepted. You MUST have a team-mate to register. As per the rules, there is a limit of 40 teams.
This competition begins on Week 3 and rounds will occur fortnightly on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:30 and 7:30 pm on campus at North Ryde. Occasionally rounds may occur in the city at the judges workplace.
