DEFINITION OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: KM is defined as a dynamic, academic and business process whereby strategic approaches are systematically applied to identify and assess, capture/create, store, share, utilize, protect and continuously evaluate valuable organizational knowledge for value creation in the Knowledge-based economy (Ansari 2019:1597; Dalkir 2005:3; ISO 2018: vi).

AIM OF Knowledge management: To improve the capability of an organisation to leverage its competitive advantage, build a systemic organizational memory, provide access to corporate memory, ensure effective usage, and curb corporate amnesia and knowledge loss (Wiig 1986:7).
