You will need to submit a record for each time you volunteered. If you want to pool all of your maintenance hours for the year into one submission, just put down the first (approximate) date you did maintenance, a total number of hours, and a note in the description that this entry includes all maintenance hours for a specific trail.

Volunteer hours are used by land managers to acquire funding and approval for new projects. The more hours we report, the more likely we are to get additional resources and opportunities from land managers. Also, the MMBA recognizes and awards volunteers at the end of each year, so be sure to record all of your hours!
