Thank you for your interest in joining the Charity Miles family.  We're incredibly honored that so many great organizations would like to join us. Unfortunately, since we have limited sponsorship resources and infrastructure, we have a long waiting list at the moment.  

We're working on that as hard as we can.  But, in the meantime, please know that we consider three main criteria in curating our charity partners:

1.  Does the charity do truly excellent work for an important cause?
2.  Are we confident in our ability to get a lot of people to walk, run or bike for the charity?
3.  Are we confident in our ability to get sponsors for the charity?

As we are evaluating the charities on the waiting list, the second criterion above is very important.  Therefore, we will most eagerly consider those charities who have teams with the most active members in the app.
Therefore, we highly recommend that you create a Team in the app (i.e. #YourOrganization), and ask your supporters to join it.  We understand that your team's miles will be supporting other charities in the app.  But if you're chosen for the app, your charity will also get miles from other charities going through the same application process.  Think about the children :)
