The project has won a Manchester Beacon Award for Best Emerging Partnership and featured on the BBC (Today Programme, File on Four).
We’ve run an octopus dissection workshop, held a microbiology and art exhibition, built microbial fuel cells, created a microbe map of Manchester, held the UK’s first DIY Bio conference and conducted DNA fingerprinting to name a few examples.
We want to continue DIY Bio MCR when funding finishes at the end of May.
At the moment we’re putting together several applications for further funding - and this is where we could really do with your help.
If you can take five minutes to fill in this form, you’ll help ensure and shape the future of the project. There are no mandatory questions.
